Everyone knows we can plan the future but, He's the one who is going to make it real. Now let me tell you...
Some of us tend to blame ourselves for what had destined for us. Do we know what is going to happen in the future? Do we know what is coming after us? Do we know who is coming into our life and who is going to leave? The answer is no. No one is going to know what is going to happen in the future. Based on my experiences, I planned my future earlier when I was in Form One. I don't want to stay in my school for 5 years in a row. I wanted to go somewhere else when I entered my Form Four year, somewhere better. I wanted to go to a new place so that I could forget every single bad memories during my lower form year.
I pray and pray and pray but He didn't let me go to that new place. He let me stay. He has His own plans for me. A better plan for my future. I was sad but whatever is it, I have to face it. And now, on my fifth year of studying at the same place, I started to realize how beautiful was His plans for me. Things happen for a reason. He has reasons on every single thing that He planned for us. He has the reason on our pain, He has the reason on our happiness.
It is alright to plan the future but we must always remember, if you weren't destined to achieve you dreams, then there must be a reason behind it. So chin up my friends! If you're not getting what you want now, you'll get it someday, sooner or later because He never rejects His slave's prayer, okay?
